Part Qualified Accountant
Artemis Human Capital are delighted to be partnering with an excellent local practice who are seeking a dedicated Part-Qualified Accountant to join their professional team. The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing accounts for a diverse client portfolio and maintaining standards in line with ACCA monitoring requirements.
Requirements:
- Part-qualified or qualified ACCA (or equivalent) with at least 2+ years of practice experience.
- Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in accounting software, including Bright, Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks.
- Experience preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies up to the trial balance stage, while managing a client portfolio.
- A motivated and ambitious approach to career progression within the practice.
- A full, clean driving license and access to a vehicle are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing financial statements.
- Compiling management accounts.
- Ensuring compliance with corporate and personal tax regulations.
- Creating cash flow statements and financial projections.
- Reconciling PAYE and VAT records.
- Managing client relationships.
- Supervising and guiding junior staff.
