Billing & Credit Control Assistant

Artemis Human Capital is excited to be partnering with  our client, a prestigious Belfast-based professional services firm. We are inviting applications for a Billing & Credit Control Assistant to become an essential part of their Working Capital Management Team.

What You’ll Be Doing
Reporting to the Working Capital Manager, you’ll be the go-to person for ensuring all billing and credit control activities run smoothly and on time. Here’s a snapshot of your day-to-day:

Billing

  • Preparing, posting, and issuing client bills, including handling complex multi-matter billing—don’t worry, we’ll provide comprehensive training.
  • Leading the charge on e-billing administration, ensuring everything is processed seamlessly.
  • Keeping the firm on track by reporting monthly KPIs on billing performance, helping to streamline processes.

Credit Control

  • Taking charge of credit control, chasing down overdue payments in a professional, efficient manner.
  • Issuing client statements and resolving any billing queries that come your way.
  • Managing the shared billing mailbox, ensuring no query goes unanswered.
  • Untangling any unallocated cash or undischarged payments, making sure they’re swiftly resolved.

Additional Duties

  • Providing crucial support to the Working Capital Manager and assisting with ad-hoc tasks that help keep the team running smoothly.

About You

  • You have proven current experience in financial administration, billing, or credit control.
  • You’re a clear communicator who can handle client queries with confidence and professionalism.
  • You’re organised and thrive when multitasking in a busy environment.
  • Experience in billing or credit control is important , but full training is provided!
