About the Role:

This is more than your typical AP Manager role. Our client is looking for someone who can not only manage the end-to-end AP process but also bring fresh ideas to enhance efficiency and drive performance within their procure-to-pay cycle.

You’ll lead a highly capable team, mentor and support them, and work closely with stakeholders across procurement, finance, and operations. The role offers scope to make a real impact in an organisation where change is embraced, and your input will be valued.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the full AP process, from invoice receipt to supplier payment runs
  • Managing a team of AP specialists, ensuring the accurate processing of transactions
  • Driving improvements across the P2P process, leveraging technology and automation where possible
  • Resolving supplier queries and building strong relationships with external partners
  • Ensuring compliance with internal controls and financial regulations
  • Supporting the wider finance team with month-end closing activities

The Ideal Candidate:

This role is tailor-made for a motivated and results-driven Accounts Payable professional with a passion for leading teams and enhancing processes. You’ll bring a wealth of experience in managing AP in a fast-paced environment, ideally with exposure to a global business.

Who You Are:

  • A proven AP leader with 5+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, including management responsibilities
  • Experience working in a large, multinational company, with knowledge of complex P2P processes
  • Skilled in improving systems and processes, with a good understanding of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
  • A confident communicator, able to build relationships with suppliers, internal teams, and stakeholders at all levels
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment with a proactive and flexible approach
