Employment Solicitor

The Opportunity:

We are seeking skilled Employment Solicitors to join a market-leading Employment Practice in Belfast. The team handles a wide range of domestic and international employment issues, working closely with colleagues in London and across the globe. This is an exciting opportunity to engage in high-quality, varied work, including global projects, complex litigation, and strategic HR advisory tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transactions: Provide advice on due diligence, TUPE regulations, and other transactional matters.
  • Redundancy: Advise on redundancy procedures, including individual and collective processes.
  • Multi-jurisdictional Projects: Participate in global projects such as restructuring exercises, compliance reviews, and policy assessments.
  • Litigation: Manage Employment Tribunal claims, including drafting key documents and advising on settlements.
  • Investigations: Conduct investigations into employee allegations and advise on appropriate procedures.
  • Data Subject Access Requests: Advise on and respond to data subject access requests, including document review and redaction.

Essential Criteria:

  • Qualifications: Qualified as a solicitor in Northern Ireland and/or England and Wales with 2-6 years’ PQE.
  • Experience: Strong employment law experience gained from a reputable practice.
  • Skills: Excellent commercial awareness, team player mentality, and strong client relationship abilities.
