About the Role:

We are representing a highly regarded global law firm based in Belfast, recognised for its excellence in commercial litigation and complex dispute resolution. The firm is seeking an ambitious and skilled Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join their team. This role offers the chance to work on high-profile cases, including All-Ireland work and UK-wide class actions, within a supportive and collaborative environment that fosters professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle a diverse and complex caseload involving breach of contracts, professional negligence, intellectual property and data protection disputes.
• Provide strategic legal advice on intricate and high-stakes cases, ensuring the best outcomes for clients.
• Draft and review detailed legal documents, including pleadings, witness statements, and settlement agreements.
• Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, court proceedings, and UK-wide class actions.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering exceptional service and acting as a trusted advisor.
• Collaborate closely with team members across jurisdictions, particularly in All-Ireland matters, providing support and sharing expertise.
• Stay updated on relevant legal developments in commercial litigation, particularly in IP, DP, and UK class actions.

Key Requirements:

• Qualified Solicitor in Northern Ireland with 2-4 years’ post-qualification experience in commercial litigation, all levels will be considered.
• Extensive experience in handling a broad range of commercial disputes, including complex cases.
• Excellent legal drafting, analytical, and case management skills.
• Proven ability to independently manage a complex and demanding caseload.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
• A proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven approach.
