Senior Contracts Manager, Dublin Projects, c.€120-130K

My Client are a leading construction and engineering firm dedicated to delivering high-quality Civils and Building projects that shape the future of Dublin. In this pivotal senior role, you will oversee and manage contracts for a number of major construction projects in Dublin and have a genuine pathway to further develop your career. You will have a strong background in contract management, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and present regular reports on contract status, performance, and financials to senior management.

Lead the contract management process from inception to completion for major construction projects in Dublin.

Negotiate and draft contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Monitor and manage contract performance, addressing any issues or disputes that arise.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.

Oversee procurement processes and manage relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.

Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

You will likely have a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field with a minimum of 7 years of experience in contract management within the construction industry. You have a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects and have an in-depth knowledge of construction contracts, legal requirements, and industry standards. A strong negotiator, with excellent communication, and interpersonal skills you are analytical and considered a problem-solver. Working effectively under pressure to meet tight deadlines you are proficient in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
