Financial Controller
This is a commercial role with a renowned NI firm who are appointing a Financial Controller as a number two in finance to manage day-to-day finance operations whilst working closely with the FD on strategic plans.
As the Financial Controller you will be tasked with ensuring all finance operations run smoothly and timely. You will also work closely with the FD and commercial teams on business planning and operational improvement projects that can see the company grow and develop in new markets.
This is a permanent position based in the Newtownabbey region for a company that is part of a group structure that offers great progression.

The Role:
- Oversee day-to-day finance function
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes
- Lead month-end and reporting procedures
- Ensure management accounts are produced accurately and on time
- Financial modelling
- Work with the FD and commercial teams in developing and implementing a business improvement strategy
The Person:
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Advanced Excel user
- Excellent communication skills
