Business Development Executive – Global Firm

Artemis Human Capital are delighted to be assisting our client, a leading global law firm, with the recruitment for a Business Development Executive. You will be joining a newly launched digital department that will offer a comprehensive range of digital legal solutions to enhance efficiency, quality, and competitiveness in an increasingly complex and dynamic market.

Key Responsibilities

Profile Raising:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop strategies for engaging with target clients through various channels including meetings, conferences, events, podcasts, and webinars.
  • Support the delivery of regional BD communications and marketing projects, monitoring success and ROI.
  • Produce and share content across internal and external channels such as the intranet, website, and social media.
  • Develop initiatives aligned with our business plan.
  • Increase internal profile awareness and understanding of the Digital group.
  • Manage content on the Digital BD hub and the practice group pages on the website.

Pitch Support:

  • Assist in the preparation of BD materials, including tenders, pitches, and bids.
  • Project manage the collection and sourcing of credentials and pitches.
  • Maintain top Digital credentials lists and pitching templates.
  • Manage the Foundation database for Digital credentials and support the use of Foundation by lawyers.
  • Oversee content management for Digital standard content on the Pitching Centre of Excellence / QorusDocs.
  • Provide Digital-related information for panel pitches and significant pitches led by other practice groups.

Directory Support:

  • Support the BD team with Directory and Awards submissions relevant to Digital.

Events and Training:

  • Work with the BD and events teams to execute successful client seminars and external events.
  • Support best practice/business development training across the practice group.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

Work-Based Competencies:

  • 2-3 years of business development experience in a professional services firm.
  • Degree educated or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in the New Law legal sector preferred.
  • Background or experience in working within a partnership.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and InterAction (advantageous).
  • Ability to manage priorities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, with a strong work ethic and ownership of tasks.
  • Effective communication at all levels, both verbally and written.
