Role Overview:

As an In-House Contracts Solicitor, you will play a pivotal role in managing, drafting, and negotiating a wide range of contracts, agreements, and legal documents critical to business operations. Your primary responsibility will be to provide expert legal advice and support in non-litigious matters, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial contracts and agreements.
• Provide legal guidance and support to internal teams on contract interpretation, risk assessment, and compliance matters.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and objectives, offering proactive legal solutions to support company goals.
• Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards to mitigate legal risks and ensure best practices.
• Assist in the development and implementation of contract management policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Qualified solicitor with experience in non-contentious contract law / construction law within a reputable law firm or in-house legal department.
• Strong knowledge of contract law principles, commercial agreements, and relevant legal frameworks.
• Exceptional drafting and negotiation skills with acute attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate complex legal concepts effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
• Proven track record of providing pragmatic legal advice and solutions in a corporate environment.
