MODERN SLAVERY STATEMENT

This statement has been published in accordance with Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015. It sets out the steps taken by Artemis Search & Selection Ltd during the year ending 5th April 2024 to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking in its business, supply chains, and clients.

OUR BUSINESS

Artemis Search & Selection Ltd are a locally owned recruitment agency operating in Northern Ireland since 2014 and more recently the Republic of Ireland.

OUR POLICIES AND PRINCIPLES

Artemis Search & Selection Ltd does not tolerate slavery or human trafficking within its business operations and all potential new suppliers or clients are subject to a due diligence process.

We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in our business dealings and relationships, and to maintaining systems and controls designed to ensure modern slavery and human trafficking are not taking place in our supply chains or in any part of our business.

Artemis Search & Selection Ltd supports the enactment and enforcement of human trafficking laws that recognise and protect victims while holding traffickers accountable.

Artemis Search & Selection Ltd operates a whistleblowing policy which encourages staff to report any wrongdoing. This extends to human rights violations, like Modern Slavery.

Our process for managing risk:
In order to assess the risk of modern slavery, we use the
following processes:

• Identify and assess potential risk areas when considering taking on new suppliers and clients
• Review the potential for risk at regular intervals, including the possibility of conducting spot checks in our existing supply chains.
• Protect whistle blowers.

OUR STAFF

Artemis Search & Selection Ltd employees have the necessary documentation to legally work in the UK and no-one under the legal minimum age for admission to work is employed by Artemis.

As part of our recruitment policies and procedures, Artemis Search & Selection Ltd comply with all relevant local laws and regulations.
Artemis Search & Selection Ltd reviews market related pay and rewards annually.
Artemis Search & Selection Ltd implements initiatives to support its employees physical and mental wellbeing and stress. This includes flexible working arrangements and healthcare benefits to all permanent employees.

TRAINING

To maintain awareness and ensure a high level of under standing of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking in our business, our Modern Slavery policy is held alongside all other company policies.

OUR COMMITMENT

Artemis Search & Selection Ltd does not support or deal with any business knowingly involved in slavery or human trafficking. We understand that Modern Slavery risk is not static, we actively monitor our supply chains and existing clients and undertake selective due diligence.

We will immediately implement risk mitigation and remedial measures should the situation change.
