Artemis Human Capital is delighted to be working with an exceptional business based in Newry, who due to continued success and growth are seeking to appoint an ambitious Newly Qualified Accountant to their dynamic finance function. This is an excellent opportunity for those due to complete their training contracts over the coming months and make their first step into industry.
You will gain significant exposure across the business, work closely with the Financial Controller to develop your skills and assist with commercial strategy and future acquisitions.

The Job:
Working with the business’s busy finance team, you will be involved across the following aspects:
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts.
- Assisting with year end accounts.
- Budgeting & forecasting.
- Balance sheet reconciliations.
- Regulatory reporting.
The Ideal Candidate:
To be considered for this role, you will be a newly/recently qualified accountant (preferably ACA, ACCA, or CIMA). This is an excellent opportunity for those considering their first move into an industry setting post-training contract, or those who have previous industry experience already. You will have experience working in a busy finance team and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
