Audit Director – Partner Pathway

The hiring firm are wanting to add a new Audit Director and put them on a pathway to Partner level within 3-4 years. Very ambitious SMT who are keen to add more partners into equity and boost their hold on the market.
The hiring firm deliver a lot of work from Belfast so not much travel is required and as Director you’ll be working with large NI clients as well as SME’s. You’ll have the option to build whatever portfolio you want.
This is a permanent opportunity based in Belfast.
The Role:
- Design and Implement Policies: The Audit Director will oversee auditing policies and procedures that align with industry standards.
- Risk Assessment: Assess and manage risks related to financial reporting, fraud, and operational business risks.
- Team Coordination: Oversee audit teams, assign tasks, and ensure efficient execution of audit plans.
- Strategic Insight: Contribute at the management team level in business and strategic planning.
The Person:
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA/ ICAEW/ ICAS)
- Senior Manager grade or above within audit
- Excellent communication skills
