Assistant Financial Accountant
Artemis are working closely with this Global Professional Services to help them hire an Assistant Accountant to join their Record to Report team on a one year fixed term contract.
This Assistant Accountant role would be ideal for an experienced candidate seeking to broaden their experience with a global setting and gain valuable insight.

Typical duties:
- Record journal entries in SAP for the assigned entities/regions
- Perform account reconciliations, including, bank reconciliations, balance sheet accounts, etc., and resolve the reconciling items promptly
- Perform period-end activities per the financial close schedules and the established guidelines
- Respond to queries and post accounting adjustments as required
- Provide support for internal and external financial audits
What you will need:
- Third level qualification / Degree, ideally in Accounting, Finance or other Business related discipline
- SAP experience is a plus
- Some experience in a professional services firm and/or shared service center is preferred
- Strong analytical skills
- Solid understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and general accounting principles
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
