Artemis Human Capital are delighted to be working with a brilliant business who are going from strength to strength. Operating for over 30 years’ they have established themselves as a leader at the forefront of their industry and a pillar in the local community.

Due to continued expansion, they have a newly created position for an Accounts Assistant to join and play an essential role in supporting the busy finance function.

This role will report to the FC and will involve:

  • Bank reconciliations.
  • Accruals and prepayments.
  • Maintenance of AP and AR ledgers.
  • Expenses and petty cash.
  • Balance sheet reconciliations.

Experience:

  • At least 2 years’ experience within a similar finance role – the salary will be dependent on level of experience.
  • Strong IT skills, in particular MS Excel.
  • Highly desirable if someone has an accountancy qualification or working towards that.
  • Solution orientated.
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively.
