Internal Accountant

Artemis Human Capital are delighted to be working with a reputable accountancy firm based in Belfast who are seeking to appoint an internal accountant to their busy team. Our client have a rapidly growing team with an excellent client portfolio. As the firm’s internal accountant you will manage the practice’s in-house finance function, previous experience within an internal finance function is essential for this role.

The Job…

This role will involve working across the following areas:

  • Maintenance of internal accounting function.
  • Control account reconciliations.
  • Producing monthly management accounts.
  • Processing payroll on a monthly basis.
  • Preparation & year end accounts.
  • Managing the day to day finance function- including; accounts payable, accounts receivable, & management accounting.

The Ideal Candidate…

To be considered for this role, you will ideally possess the following criteria:

  • Proven experience working within an internal finance function.
  • Experience preparing management accounts is essential for this role.
  • Payroll experience is preferred.
  • Organised individual with the ability to work towards deadlines.
  • The ability to use initiative when problem solving.
