ERP Manager
My client is a progressive, high visibility Group of companies in the manufacturing and services space. They have a fantastic track record of investment and innovation in their IT systems and have recently undergone one of the largest ERP implementation projects in Ireland in one of their portfolio companies. And they are just getting started.
The company is putting together a new team to focus on systems implementation and digital transformation /integration projects across the Group. Picture it like a kind of ‘Digital Supergroup’ to undertake and drive a comprehensive programme of digital change across several large-scale companies in the portfolio and bring alignment across the group.
The organisation is keen to hire a Head of ERP to play a key leadership role in the roll-out and integration of business process technologies across the Group. Â This is a cracking role for an experienced ERP Manager or someone coming from consultancy / vendor side who is keen to focus their skills within the one client brand and make a name for themselves in the local market.
You dont need me to tell you the core responsibilities of a role like this as you will inevitably have the ‘war wounds’ and experience of working on similar projects, but the role involves a comprehensive mix of –
- Stakeholder management and engagement
- Managing a Team of BAs
- Pro-active engagement with the BI team regarding reporting governance and strategy
- Vendor management
- Commitment to corporate governance and good practice
This is a genuinely unique career opportunity for someone with ERP leadership experience. It is a broad, strategic role and a new position so carries a huge amount of scope for someone to put their own stamp and take ownership of the opportunity and the project.
