Costing Analyst

Do you currently have experience of analysing costs and profit margins and want to work for a excellent local employer?

I am pleased to be partnering with this global manufacturing powerhouse to recruit a Cost Analyst to their growing finance function. Reporting to the group financial controller you will play a pivotal role providing insights into product, labour and site costings.

Insights and recommendations provided by you will play a significant impact on forecasting and enable sound decision making on the business growth and trajectory.

In return you will gain excellent exposure across a global platform. They operate a hybrid working policy, are flexible around start/finish times and have a half day Friday.

The role:  

  • Working in partnership with the sales and operations teams to ensure accurate costings are produced
  • KPI reporting to include investigation and explanation of variances
  • Advising on and implementing process improvement plans
  • Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
  • Monitoring pricing, profitability and trends alongside sales team
  • Drive efficiency and quality of KPI reporting

The Person:

  • CIMA, ACCA, ACA qualified accountant with relevant experience
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Analytical with a strong costing focus
  • Ability to communicate with key stakeholders across all business areas
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work to strict deadlines
