Artemis Executive Search are delighted to have been retained to recruit a Head of Technical for their facility in Dungannon.

The Head of Technical is a senior leadership role reporting directly to the General Manager with responsibility for overseeing all aspects of technical operations. This is a varied role that includes preventative and reactive maintenance, Project Management Office (PMO) activities, CapEx management, NPD as well as various projects related to the organisation’s infrastructure.

Driving technical excellence, efficiency and innovation you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability of equipment, successful execution of projects, development of new projects and be instrumental in the organisations long term success.

Leading the PMO function you will ensure all projects are completed on time and to budget, whilst implementing best practices and methodologies. Managing a portfolio of technical projects you will  monitor progress identifying and mitigating risks.

You are a proven technical leader from an Engineering background, likely degree qualified or with demonstrable capability through experience. You have a strong track record in managing technical teams and projects and are very knowledgeable regarding preventative/ reactive maintenance, PMO methodologies, CapEx, project management and NPD processes.

You are a strategic thinker and problem solver with strong analytical skills; data driven you foster an environment of innovation and continuous improvement. You have excellent communication skills, are collaborative, commercially aware and customer centric. As a leader you encourage and foster continual learning and professional growth within your team through mentoring, coaching, effective communication and collaboration.
