Financial Controller (exclusive)
Artemis Human Capital is excited to have partnered with a highly profitable and innovative business to appoint a driven and commercial Financial Controller. This is a new position, created to accommodate ambitious growth plans and new business acquisition.
Joining the Senior Management Team and reporting to the MD and board, the Financial Controller will undertake a pivotal and influential role to help the business meet their short, medium and long term objectives.

The Role:
- Production of timely and accurate financial reporting for all interested parties
- Managing the accounts team and ensuring the highest standards of financial control
- Manage and control working capital through optimising the Group’s management of debtors, creditors, stock controls and related systems
- Implement continuous financial audit and control systems to monitor the performance of the
- Management of FX exposure and hedging as appropriate
- Develop KPIs to drive the company objectives
- Prepare financial forecasts, budgeting and cashflow projections
- Provide direction and support to the business on the financial and commercial implications of all key decisions
- Play an active role in the strategic development of the business and appropriate planning
- In partnership with the Managing Director, introduce new practices and improvements into the business
The Person:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
- Commercially minded with sound judgement and strong interpersonal skills
- Experience of developing and implementing accounting processes and detailed financial reporting to support commercial decisions
- Strong experience of working capital & cash management
- Team management experience
- Highly analytical
- Self motivated
