ERP Business Analyst. Digital Transformation.
My client is a progressive, high visibility Group of companies in the manufacturing and services space. They have a fantastic track record of investment and innovation in their IT systems and have recently undergone one of the largest ERP implementation projects in Ireland in one of their portfolio companies. And they are just getting started.
The company is putting together a new team to focus on systems implementation and digital transformation /integration projects across the Group. Picture it like a kind of ‘Digital Supergroup’ to undertake and drive a comprehensive programme of digital change across several large-scale companies in the portfolio and bring alignment across the group.
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with hands-on exposure to an ERP roll-out or digital transformation project from any industry sector / background. It is also a cracking role for someone coming from consultancy / vendor side who is keen to focus their skills within the one client brand and make a name for themselves in the local market.
You dont need me to tell you the core responsibilities of a role like this as you will inevitably have the ‘war wounds’ and experience of working on similar projects, but the role involves a comprehensive mix of –
- Stakeholder management and engagement
- Process Mapping and Documentation
- Providing training and user guides to promote adoption and success of new systems
- Commitment to corporate governance and good practice
This is a genuinely unique career opportunity for someone with BA experience in the systems / ERP domain. It offers all the benefits of a Big 4 consulting role (high budgets, complex systems, problem-solving) but with additional ownership and autonomy that comes from working with a local brand. And minimal requirement for travel.
