Head of Risk
Artemis Human capital is delighted to be working in partnership with one of Northern Ireland’s largest and most profitable businesses to appoint a Head of Risk. Reporting to a respected Group Finance Director, the successful candidate will undertake a pivotal role in evaluating, building and delivering risk management solutions throughout the group.
This is brand new role and a unique opportunity for a top 6 audit trained accountant to join an acquisitive business offering scope to eventually move into a Senior Finance role within the portfolio businesses.
The Rewards:
- Salary will reflect the seniority of the candidate but will be in the range of £70K-£90K

The Role:
- Oversee business risk across the group
- Create an internal audit strategy, programme and detailed audit test plans
- Prepare and present clear and concise findings to the Group CEO, Group FD and Audit Committee, to include recommendations and solutions
- Support business acquisition activities to include research, due diligence and post-acquisition integration
- Support group finance in conducting refinancing activities
The Person:
- The successful candidate must be an external auditor at Manager, Senior Manager or Director level within a top 6 firm with significant experience or managing an audit process
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
