This vibrant and fast-paced business operates across the UK and Ireland markets and is a market leader in their field. As an Assistant Accountant, you will play a crucial role in their finance team,
Responsibilities:
- Prepare Management Accounts
- Lead in the preparation and reporting of expenditure against budget; including analysing expenditure, calculating appropriate accruals/prepayments; working with budget-holders/managers, identifying variances, preparing explanatory commentary and presentation of results
- Preparation of weekly/monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including debtors, creditors, accruals, prepayments, highlighting overdue/queried balances
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of current experience in a similar role
- Ideally working towards / part qualified in ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification.
- A curious, driven, and ambitious mindset.
- Strong attention to detail and understanding of accounting principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
