Credit Contoller
Artemis are proud to be partnering with this Leading NI business to hire a talented Credit Control Professional to join their dynamic finance function based in Belfast.
The role:
The Credit Controller will work as part of the existing Credit Team. They will be responsible for taking on new Credit Accounts, managing their own debtors ledger and customer fuel spend versus Credit Limit as well as supervising the team with these essential tasks. This is a key role in the company analysing risk, minimising debt and assisting the cash flow.
- Analysis of customers financial statements and B2B Credit report to set and review Credit Limits
- Collection activity through to litigation stage
- Preparation of weekly / monthly reports
- Aiming to meet set KPI’s (individual & Team)
- Project work with Head of Credit
- Maximising volume opportunities in line with business goals and targets
- Statement preparation
- Liaising with customers to conclude all queries;
- Involved in Credit checking new customers and opening new credit accounts;
- Ensure credit and cashflow is at the forefront to minimise debt, improve cashflow and avoid company losses;
- Completing monthly reporting as required;
- Work closely with our credit insurers to ensure that appropriate cover is in place
- Daily check bank accounts for payments and returned direct debits
- Maintaining a good working relationship with the sales & account management teams
- Contact debtors/ customers for outstanding payment and arrange payment plans as necessary
- Process / run Direct Debits on a daily basis
- Ensure all credit control procedures are adhered to at all times
- Carry out Customer Account Reconciliations
