Our client is a progressive owner managed manufacturing and distribution firm founded in mid ulster but operating throughout Northern Ireland for the last 60 years and are considered a market leader in terms of product capability and service in their sector.
This is a newly created opportunity as my client looks to scale the business and diversify into new market, the ideal candidate for this opportunity is an ambitious sales director/manager with a proven track record of B2B sales, whilst being commercially astute and capable of improving company gross profit margins.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Your initial focus will be generating and converting significant opportunities that exist in its current key market (Tyrone & Derry) and developing market share from its current sales level of circa £7 million. In conjunction with the directors, you will review and update the sales strategy including development and agreement of KPIs for the sales function and ultimately lead delivery.
Drive sales strategy and growth; managing the performance of their sales team (currently 4) but also Take the lead for client prospecting and taking the lead to close negotiations with prospective partners.
Responsible for ‘landing and expanding’ with new customers through seeking extensions of commercial agreements, pricing, forecasting and managing any customer service-related issues.
Regularly collate and report data and information to key stakeholders
What do we look for?
- 7+ Years B2B or B2C sales experience
- Proven track record of exceeding targets
- Client base already within large Manufacturing or Constructions firms across NI
- Background in developing junior staff.
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Someone who enjoys being on the road and f2f with clients.
