The Role:
As a Newly Qualified Banking & Finance Solicitor, you will work closely with a team of experienced legal professionals, gaining hands-on experience in a wide range of banking and finance transactions. This role will involve conducting legal research, drafting, and reviewing contracts and agreements, advising clients on regulatory compliance, and participating in negotiations. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of transactions and providing high-quality legal services to the firms’ esteemed clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and provide insightful analysis on banking and finance matters.
- Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, loan agreements, and security documentation.
- Assist in negotiations and provide legal advice on transnational matters.
- Collaborate with senior solicitors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing exceptional legal guidance.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and changes in relevant legislation.
Requirements:
- Recently qualified as a solicitor with a focus on banking and finance law
- Strong academic background in law.
- Demonstrated interest in banking and finance law through relevant coursework or internships.
- Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
