Financial Accountant
Artemis Human capital are delighted to be working with a fantastic family business based in North down to appoint a financial accountant to their continually growing finance team. The company have managed to retain the family feel while scaling to over £100M turnover and now need an additional accountant due to internal promotion.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a business that prides itself on their culture and are keen to bring in the right person who can grow with the business.
The Role:
- Preparation of financial statements for all group entities
- Annual audit and tax returns
- Develop and implement group tax strategy to include R&D tax credit and transfer pricing
- Develop and implement treasury strategy
- Mentor and manage accounting staff, participate in financial management team meetings
- Ensure the group is up to date with current accounting standards and implement policy to reflect this.
The Person:
- Qualified accountant ( ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience with Tax returns
- Advanced IT skills
- Autonomous and driven with experience of implementing processes.
