Group Financial Controller
Artemis Human Capital are delighted to be partnering with a leading firm in Ballymena to appoint a Group Financial Controller. Following recent investment this innovative business have an immediate need to appoint a Group Financial Controller to oversee their scaling finance department.
Working alongside the CFO and senior management team the successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day running of the finance department and managing an excellent finance team.
The role:
- Oversee and present Monthly reporting with relevant commentary
- Assist the FP&A team in preparation and presentation for forecasts, budgets and 3-5yr business plan.
- Drive the continual assessment, development and implementation of financial processes and procedures
- Managing stakeholder reporting and relationships
- Lead and mentor the finance team to drive department performance
- Oversee VAT returns, Tax Planning, Year end stat accounts and Forex
- Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors as the key point of contact
The Person:
- Qualified accountant (ACA) with excellent academia
- Previous experience within a similar role
- In depth knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
- Experience with automation and implementation of reporting processes.
- Exceptional communication skills at all levels including external stakeholder management.
