Operating as a leader at the forefront of the manufacturing sector local and nationally, they show no signs of slowing down in terms of organic and strategic growth.
Our client has a newly created position for a Cost Accountant. Reporting directly to the FC, this role will be responsible for –
- Driving processes and efficiencies through KPI reporting and analysis.
- Preparation of costs for stock products.
- Reconciliation of stock and overseeing annual stock counting procedures.
- Business partnering with heads of department.
- Monitoring pricing, profitability and trends alongside sales team.
- Assisting with annual budgets in relation to production costs.
- Quarterly review of standard costs against actual costs.
Experience –
- Qualified accountant – ACA, ACCA, CIMA.
- 2 years’ experience working within industry, ideally in manufacturing.
- Solution orientated attitude.
- Analytical and strong investigatory skills.
- Adaptable and reliable.
- Strong systems experience – Excel (essential) Power BI (desirable)
