As a Senior Assistant Accountant, you will play a crucial role in the financial management of our organisation. Your primary responsibilities will include the preparation of monthly management accounts, payroll administration, forecasting, and cash flow management. You will work closely with the finance team and other stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- The production of monthly Management Accounts & associated reports
- Preparing & processing monthly payrolls
- Cashflow preparation
- Forecasting
- Divisional accounts & reconciliation
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Intercompany reconciliations
- Preparation of VAT Returns & associated duties
- Month end bank reconciliations
- Assist with annual statutory audit
- Monthly & ad hoc BACS payments
- Accounts Payable duties as and when required
- Work collaboratively within the finance team to achieve set targets
- Analyse key information and have the ability to spot trends/irregularities

Essential Criteria
- Proven hands on experience of producing Management Accounts in a fast paced setting
- Minimum of 3 years’ current experience in a similar role
- High level of experience and knowledge with Microsoft Excel
- Hold ATI qualification or part CIMA/ACCA qualified
