Financial Controller
Artemis Human Capital is delighted to be working on an exclusive basis with a highly successful and acquisitive company in the greater Belfast area. As a result of continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, they are seeking to appoint a Financial Controller to undertake an autonomous role within the business.
Reporting to the Finance Director the Financial Controller will manage a small team with full ownership of the day to day finance function. This role is ideal for an experienced accountant ready to step up into a Financial Controller position.
The Role:
- Preparation of quarterly management accounts and reconciliations
- Preparing monthly journals and account analysis
- Supervising month end close
- Leading the financial year end and audit work
- Preparing cashflow forecasts and bank reconciliations
- Balance sheet reconciliations and highlighting any concerns to the Finance Director
- Assisting with the implementation of business process improvements
- Managing and coordinating workloads for a team of four
- Assist with completing Grant Applications
The Person:
- Fully qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Strong IT skills
- Ability to lead and manage a team
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Strong communication skills
