Accounting Manager

Artemis Human Capital are delighted to be working with a reputable accountancy practice based in the Newry & Mourne area. This role is a career defining opportunity for an experienced practice professional, working with well respected local team to manage a portfolio of clients.

This role will work with an enviable client portfolio across a range of sectors, this opportunity also offers fantastic scope for future progression. Working closely with the practice’s senior management team across the following:

  • Preparation & review of client accounts.
  • Corporate & personal tax work.
  • Liaising with clients to ensure deadlines are met & all queries are quickly and efficiently addressed.
  • Supervising & delegating work to junior team members.
  • Working with senior management on client advisory work.

The Ideal Candidate…

To be considered for this role, you will ideally possess the following criteria:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified with a minimum of 2 years PQE.
  • Strong general practice accounting experience.
  • Excellent communication & client management skills.
  • Good general tax knowledge.
  • Ability to be a team player.
