Assistant Management Accountant, Full Study Support
Artemis are proud to be exclusively recruiting behalf of this thriving commercial business, to help them recruit an Assistant Accountant to join their growing Accounting Team.
If you are a recent Graduate, with some Accounts experience and have commenced with your ACCA / CIMA qualification but need a role that offers you more experience, management accounts exposure and mentorship, then this is the role for you.
The role:
You will have responsibility for the day to day Accounting activities for a division of the business, under the supervision of the Group Accountant and FD. Typical duties will include:
- AP / AR procession (full end to end ownership)
- Daily bank reconciliations
- Production of various reports
- Supporting month end processes
- Assisting with, then eventually taking ownership of preparation of Monthly Management Accounts
- Balance sheet reconciliations & ownership of P&L
The role will develop over time to allow you to really take ownership of the Financial Control elements of the Management Accounting for one of the company’s divisions, with support, oversight and hands on training from highly experienced Accounting professionals.

The person:
- You will be a recent Graduate of Accountancy or a Business related Subject (2:1 or above)
- You will have some hands on accounting experience in a commercial setting – ideally 1-2 years
- You will hopefully already have commenced study towards ACCA / CIMA however candidates with strong hands on experience who are keen to commence study will also be considered
- You will have an engaging, confident communication style and be capable of building good relationships across a variety of networks.
- You will be IT savy with proven hands on experience of excel
