Financial Controller
Artemis Human Capital are delighted to be exclusively representing an excellent local business to appoint a hands on financial controller to oversee the group finance department.
Reporting to the managing director this is an excellent opportunity for a motivated accountant to step up to the next level, equally it would suit someone already in a financial controller position seeking more autonomy over the group finances.
The Role:
- Oversee the day to day operation of the finance department.
- Preparation, review and presentation of monthly management accounts and board packs.
- Implementation and review of KPI’s
- Continual process improvement and implementation
- Cashflow forecasting and control of annual budgets.
- Partner with the operational and commercial teams to achieve optimal efficiency and maximise profitability.
- Year end accounts prep and liaise with the external auditors.
The Person:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Driven and ambitious individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Advanced excel skills to include complex financial modelling.
- Experience delivering accurate and timely information in clear, concise manor to influence business decisions.
- Lead, manage and develop the wider finance team.
- Experience in retail or hospitality would be desirable.
