Our client is seeking an experienced Practice Lead – Conveyancing & Non-Contentious Business to provide specialist expertise and support to the legal profession.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified solicitor or barrister with a strong background in Northern Ireland conveyancing and property law, who is looking to move into a role with a greater focus on professional engagement, policy and supporting the wider legal community.

The successful candidate will:

• Provide expert advice on conveyancing and non-contentious legal matters.
• Keep up to date with developments in legislation, policy and best practice.
• Work closely with committees, members and external stakeholders.
• Prepare written submissions, consultation responses and practice guidance.
• Contribute to conferences, events and initiatives supporting the profession.
• Analyse complex legal issues and provide clear, practical advice.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A professional legal qualification with substantial post-qualification experience in conveyancing and property.
• Strong knowledge of Northern Ireland conveyancing law, practice and procedure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
• The ability to build effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
• A practical understanding of the issues currently facing the conveyancing profession.

This role would suit an experienced conveyancing professional who is keen to use their technical expertise in a broader advisory, policy and professional-facing capacity.
