The Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Payroll Executive to join a rapidly scaling professional services firm with an excellent reputation in the Irish market.
This is a great opportunity to join a growing Outsourcing team and take on a varied, client-facing role covering end-to-end Irish payroll across a diverse client base. The role will also provide exposure to accounting services, making it a strong opportunity for someone looking to broaden their experience and develop their career within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls from start to finish.
- Use payroll systems including Sage Payroll and BrightPay.
- Ensure payrolls are processed accurately and in line with Irish employment and tax legislation.
- Prepare and submit payroll-related returns, including PSRs.
- Manage and resolve client payroll queries.
- Liaise directly with clients and provide a professional, responsive service.
- Keep up to date with changes to Irish payroll legislation and Revenue guidance.
Requirements
- Previous experience processing Irish payroll.
- Strong knowledge of Irish payroll legislation and Revenue requirements.
- Experience using payroll software, ideally Sage Payroll and/or BrightPay.
- IPASS Payroll qualification is an advantage.
- Ability to manage deadlines and work across multiple client requirements.
