Accountant
Artemis Human Capital are hiring for an Accountant to join our client’s team on a full-time basis. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will support the delivery of accurate financial reporting, maintain strong financial controls, and play a key role within the wider finance function.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reporting
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities across the business
• Prepare account reconciliations and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data
• Support month-end and year-end processes, including audit requirements
• Provide financial analysis and reporting support to key stakeholders
• Assist with improving finance processes, systems, and reporting efficiencies
• Support the wider finance team with ad hoc financial projects
About You
• Qualified accountant, part-qualified, or actively working towards qualification
• Strong understanding of accounting principles with excellent attention to detail
• Organised with the ability to manage deadlines and prioritise effectively
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial information
• Good communication skills with the ability to work with stakeholders across the business
• Proactive, adaptable, and keen to develop within a fast-paced finance environment
