Finance Manager
Artemis Human Capital is delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Finance Manager to join a highly ambitious, acquisitive business based in Belfast. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a diverse leadership role, combining strategic financial management with the day to day oversight of a client accounting function.
Working closely with senior leadership, you will play a pivotal role in driving informed business decisions, improving financial performance, and ensuring the delivery of a first class accounting service to clients. This position offers a unique blend of commercial influence and operational leadership within a dynamic, growth focused organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly management accounts and performance reports
- Provide financial insights to support strategic decisions
- Lead annual budgeting and cash-flow forecasting
- Liaise with external finance support and oversee financial processes
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records
- Manage and develop a small client accounting team
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions
- Maintain excellent service standards for clients
- Identify and implement improvements to systems and workflows
- Support the team operationally during busy periods
The Candidate:
- Experience in a finance or accounting role (management accounts, forecasting, or similar)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience managing or mentoring a team
- Systems/process improvement experience
