Artemis Human Capital is pleased to be partnering with a well-established professional services firm in Belfast to recruit a Finance Manager to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to take ownership of a broad internal finance function within a supportive and collaborative organisation known for its strong culture, high-quality client base, and forward-thinking approach.
The Role
As Finance Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the business, ensuring accurate reporting, strong financial controls, and timely delivery of management information to support senior decision-making.
You will work closely with leadership to provide insight into financial performance and help drive continuous improvement across finance processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading the internal finance function and overseeing daily accounting operations
- Producing monthly management accounts and financial reporting packs
- Managing balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring accuracy of financial data
- Maintaining robust financial controls and improving existing processes
- Overseeing supplier payments and cash flow management
- Providing financial insight and ad hoc analysis to senior stakeholders
- Ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
- Supporting wider business initiatives from a finance perspective
About You
- Qualified or qualified by experience finance professional
- Strong background in management accounts and financial reporting
- Experience in a hands-on finance role within a professional environment
- Strong understanding of financial controls and systems
- Proficient in Xero, Excel, and Microsoft Office
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills
- Confident communicator with the ability to work with senior stakeholders
- Proactive, organised, and comfortable working autonomously
