Working collaboratively with the Leadership team, you will have strategic and tactical responsibility for developing and implementing the manufacturing strategy and strategic operational goals to exceed customer expectations for product quality, cost and delivery, maximising efficiency, optimising production levels and driving operational excellence.

The Role
As Director of Production you will lead, direct and monitor all aspects of production in their manufacturing campus which includes people and budgetary management and you will provide strong, clear leadership and vision that helps to inspire and motivate their employees to achieve excellence.
Leading the operational teams at both Cookstown and Monkstown facilities you will identify and implement best practice strategies and processes to continuously improve business performance.
Driving continuous improvement across all manufacturing area’s you will identify, monitor and report on KPI’s ensuring all projects are delivered safely, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Building and maintaining a collaborative working environment you will drive the personal development of the operations team and develop strong relationships with all stakeholders including board members.
You have a 3rd level qualification in a relevant discipline or significant comparable experience ideally in a multi-site manufacturing environment. A proven leader you have a thorough understanding of manufacturing principles, experience of ERP systems, LEAN, Six Sigma or Kaizen and project planning and change management capabilities.
