Trainee Financial Advisor
Artemis Human Capital is delighted to be partnering with a prestigious financial services organisation based in Belfast as they seek to hire a Trainee Financial Planner to their growing team. This is a newly created and key role within the business & as such they are keen to speak with applicants who are experienced paraplanners with the ambition and drive to become a financial planner. The successful candidate will work closely with the senior leadership team in order to progress quickly and eventually oversee their own portfolio of existing clients.
The Job
Working closely with the firm’s senior leadership & wider team, you will be involved across the following:
- Shadowing one of the firm’s senior financial planners in order to train and develop your skill set, with the hope of becoming a capable financial planner
- Overseeing a portfolio of existing company clients, ensuring they are provided with a top class level of service
- Prepare client documentation in advance of and following client meetings
- Ensuring excellent client relationships are maintained & developed
- Liaising with external stakeholders
- Identifying opportunities for business growth & development

The Candidate
You will be an experienced paraplanner who is passionate about pursuing a career in financial services and progressing into an advisory role. Our client will provide excellent training & support to the successful applicant. Other candidate criteria includes:
- Level 4 qualified (essential)
- Strong previous experience in a paraplanning or financial planning focused role
- Excellent communication skills
- Ambitious & proactive approach
