Private Client Tax Director

This role will help your career because: You will work with a lot of contemporary clients and focus predominantly on advisory, sitting as the most senior person within this Private Client tax function.

The hiring firm is wanting to add a new Private Client Tax Director to oversee their growing private client function, and your day-to-day will focus heavily on advisory to clients.

The hiring firm deliver a lot of work from Belfast so not much travel is required and as Director you’ll be working with large NI clients as well as SME’s. You’ll have the option to build whatever portfolio you want.

This is a permanent opportunity based in Belfast.

The Role:

  • Strategic Tax Planning:
    • Develop and execute strategic tax plans for clients.
    • These plans align with legal requirements and aim to optimize tax efficiency while supporting the client’s financial goals.
  • Client Advisory:
    • Provide tailored tax advice to clients, considering their unique circumstances.
    • Analyze tax implications related to business decisions, investments, and transactions.
  • Tax Compliance:
    • Oversee the preparation and submission of tax returns, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulations.

The Person:

  • Qualified accountant or CTA
  • Senior Manager grade or above within Private Client tax
  • Excellent communication skills
