Legal Secretary – Family & Matrimonial 


Artemis Human Capital is delighted to be working in partnership with a local law firm in its search for a legal secretary to join its busy team.  Our client is searching for a matrimonial legal secretary, where you’ll have the opportunity to work with a reputable and established team. Our client is seeking a dedicated individual who is knowledgeable in family and matrimonial law, possesses excellent organisational skills, and is committed to delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Legal Support: Assist fee earners in preparing legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings related to family and matrimonial cases such as divorce, child custody, adoption, and domestic violence.
  • Case Management: Manage case files, maintain accurate records, and ensure deadlines are met. Conduct legal research, gather relevant information, and assist in case preparation.
  • Client Interaction: Communicate professionally and empathetically with clients, providing updates, answering inquiries, and guiding them through legal processes.
  • Court Filings: Prepare and file legal documents with courts, agencies, and other relevant entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with procedural requirements.


  • Paralegal / Legal Secretary experience essential
  • Proven experience specialising in family and matrimonial law.
  • Proficiency in legal research, drafting legal documents, and case management software.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and multitasking skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
