Legal Secretary – Litigation

Artemis Human Capital is delighted to be working with a well-established general practice law firm based in the heart of Belfast in their search for a Legal Secretary to join their busy team. As a Legal Secretary specialising in litigation, you will play a vital role in supporting the legal team in delivering high-quality services to clients. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Providing administrative support to solicitors in the litigation department.
- Drafting and formatting legal documents, correspondence, and court forms.
- Managing and organising case files, including electronic filing systems.
- Liaising with clients, courts, and other parties involved in cases.
- Assisting with scheduling appointments, hearings, and meetings.
- Conducting legal research and preparing case summaries.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a legal secretary or in a similar administrative role within a law firm, preferably with exposure to litigation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures related to litigation.
