Solicitor – Head of Conveyancing

Artemis Human Capital is delighted to be working in partnership with a lovely, local law firm who are searching for a Head of Conveyancing to join their team. As a key leadership role within the organization, the Head of Conveyancing Solicitor will be responsible for overseeing and managing the conveyancing department, ensuring the efficient handling of property transactions and providing expert guidance to a small team of solicitors.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of conveyancing solicitors, providing guidance, training, and support.
• Oversee all aspects of property transactions, including sales, purchases, leases, and transfers.
• Handle complex conveyancing matters, offering legal advice and solutions to clients.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in conveyancing.
• Manage client relationships, ensuring exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction.
• Monitor departmental performance, set targets, and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and enhance overall efficiency.
• Stay updated with changes in property law and conveyancing practices.

Qualifications:

• Qualified Solicitor with 8+ years of experience in conveyancing law.
• Proven experience in a leadership or managerial role within a conveyancing department.
• In-depth knowledge of property law, conveyancing procedures, and relevant legislation.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
