Financial Controller (exclusive)
Artemis Human Capital are excited to be exclusively recruiting on behalf of a leading professional services firm for a newly created Financial Controller position. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced individual to join a dynamic and growing company.
In this newly created role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the financial future of the business. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial accounting, reporting, and compliance as well as working closely with the leadership team to provide strategic financial insights and support informed decision-making.
The Role
- Manage the full financial accounting cycle, including monthly close, reconciliations, and journal entries
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements
- Oversee internal controls
- Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support budgeting and strategic planning
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support business growth and profitability
The Person
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with a minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar role
- Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to both technical and non-technical audiences
- A proactive and results-oriented individual
