Financial Controller

Artemis Human Capital is currently working in partnership with a leading service provider near Monaghan. They are eager to appoint a commercially astute Financial Controller to undertake a broad and pivotal role. Reporting to the CFO, the Financial Controller will have full oversight of the finance function to include managing a small team.

The Role:

  • Manage day to day operations of the Finance Team
  • Manage month end close and consolidation across the group
  • Balance sheet reconciliation
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Variance analysis against budget
  • Business partnering across the group
  • Manage the development and implementation of finance processes and controls across the organisation
  • Lead on the annual statutory audit, ensuring timely supply of information to the audit team.
  • Assist the CFO with annual budget preparation, forecasting, cash flow and development and management of KPI reporting
  • Report on working capital and bank covenants and provide report to external and internal stakeholders as required
  • Oversight of ROI and UK payrolls to external payroll providers

The Person:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong systems experience with proficiency in Excel
  • Excellent analytical skills
