Financial Controller
We are excited to collaborate with a dynamic company during a significant growth phase. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Financial Controller, seasoned Senior Accountant or Finance Manager seeking advancement. As part of a well-established finance team, this role will be instrumental in the Irish operations.
The Role:
- Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance and maintain internal controls.
- Provide strategic recommendations to senior management team based on financial analysis and projections.
- Lead the finance team, ensuring continuous improvement in performance and efficiency.
- Coordinate and manage the annual audit process, liaise with external auditors and tax advisors.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee cash flow management.
- Analyse financial data and market trends to identify areas for cost reduction and operational improvement.
- Support M&A activities, including financial due diligence and integration.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Accounting qualification (ACA,ACCA, CPA or equivalent).
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a senior accounting role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
- Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and strategic planning.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
