Financial Accountant – Software Firm

A global PE backed software firm in Belfast are adding a Financial Accountant as they look to grow their Belfast team.

The company has a small finance function and as the Financial Accountant in this firm you will be heavily involved with the day-to-day reporting, projections, and accounts productions. This is a great opportunity as their is massive scope to move to Financial Controller within 18mths, whilst working alongside a very commercially savvy CFO.

Having autonomy and great communication skills will be pivotal in this position as the CFO is looking someone who can really take the reigns of the finance function in years to come.

This is a permanent opportunity based in Belfast.

The Role:

• Financial statement reviews
• Management accounts production
• Forecasting and budgeting
• Presenting to senior stakeholders
• Assist with external audit
• Cashflow projections

The Person:

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA)
• Excellent communication skills
• Progressive mindset
