Finance Director

Artemis Executive Search have been successfully retained by one of Ireland’s leading Manufacturing firm’s Greiner Packaging to appoint a new Finance Director to lead their 55 million turnover Dungannon HQ.

The role:

  • Leading the Company’s general finance and reporting process
  • Develop Finance team members capabilities
  • Produce accurate financial reports to specific deadlines
  • Provide and interpret financial information
  • Monitor cash flows  plus sourcing and arrangement of longer term finance where required
  • Manage and coordinate yearly budget/forecast processes and variant analysis with actual figures
  • Controlling and reporting of general costs
  • Ensure proper cost accounting:
  • Definition, implementation and control of internal cost allocation
  • Ensure that all areas of the business are aligned with objectives
  • Timely identification of deviations from targets and support for countermeasures
  • Keeping abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation
  • Managing the internal control system including investments

Criteria

  • Member of recognised professional accountancy body
  • Excellent knowledge of local GAAP
  • Experience in cost accounting in a manufacturing environment
  • IFRS experience
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Experience in liquidity planning/management (short/mid-term)
  •  Experience in managing a small team
  • Strong process orientation
  • Strong leadership & communication skills
