Corporate Solicitor: Senior Associate – Partner

The Role:

As a Senior Associate Corporate Solicitor, you will take a leadership role within the Corporate Law department. You will be responsible for managing a wide range of complex legal matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, corporate finance, commercial agreements, and general corporate advisory work. Your in-depth knowledge of corporate law and ability to provide strategic guidance will be critical in ensuring clients receive the highest quality legal services.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a portfolio of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, corporate finance, commercial agreements, and general corporate advisory work.
• Provide expert legal advice and guidance to clients, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Conduct due diligence investigations, draft and negotiate contracts, and prepare legal opinions.
• Collaborate closely with clients and other stakeholders to understand their business needs and develop effective legal strategies.
• Supervise and mentor junior associates, providing guidance and support to foster their professional development.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, legal developments, and best practices to maintain a high level of expertise in corporate law.

Qualifications:

• Qualified solicitor with 5+ years of experience in corporate law.
• Strong academic background in law, with a focus on corporate and commercial law.
• Proven track record in managing complex corporate transactions and providing strategic legal advice.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong business acumen and ability to understand clients’ needs from a commercial perspective.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
